Preparations for the V Annual Book Fair at the Queens Museum of Art are underway. We are forming a selected group of artists, authors and panels, and performers. The V Book Fair Expo will feature local and international authors, a main stage, children reading area, and the magnificent amphitheater of QMA for readings, book signings and book releases. The New York Book Fair Expo is holding its V Book Expo New York at the Queens Museum of Art in Flushing Meadow Park for its October 10, 2010 edition. The Queens Museum of Art, at New York City Building, Flushing Meadows Corona Park Queens, NY 11368 in New York City, provides convenient access, either on site or nearby, to everything visitors from the publishing and editorial industry might want or need, from restaurants, hotel rooms and entertainment, to a quick trip to the Flushing Meadow Park. "The V annual Book Expo will bring everything together in a historic, great space that shows off Queens, New York at its best," Founder and Director of NY Book Fair Expo Jacqueline Donado said in a media release. The Queens Museum of Art is dedicated to presenting the highest quality visual arts and educational programming for people in the New York metropolitan area, and particularly for the residents of Queens, a uniquely diverse ethnic, cultural and international community. "And even though the Queens Museum of Art is a larger venue than our last site, the St Demetrios Greek American School, we relocated the event looking for a larger space, separate room for lectures and conference, café and a great exhibition space for art, music and dance presentations". The exhibition space will be on the Unisphere Gallery and the floors connected by an escalator. Vendors should secure their booths as soon as possible.
